The days are long, and the light lingers into the evening hours. There is an electricity in the Summer months that inspires and fills us with life. Summer Sizzle, our upcoming All Member Exhibition opens on July 13th and runs through August 6th with a special Opening Reception on Sunday, July 16th from 5-7pm.

Colleen Forde is a painter living near the Maine seacoast, and making art has been a part of her life since childhood. The beauty of the New England seacoast has played a significant role in her art and inspires her paintings. She works primarily in her home-base studio, creating paintings from small sketches, photographs, and memory. Her work includes coastal landscapes, barn scenery, elements of nature, and so much more.

Colleen's artwork has been exhibited and sold in multiple locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire and the United States. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from the Maine College of Art in Portland, and an Art Education Certification from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. Colleen has taught drawing and painting for local community programs and provided private instruction.
