Marcia Abigail Ryder Scholarship

Marcia Abigail Ryder was a beloved Traip Academy art teacher for 28 years, during which time she touched the lives of hundreds of students.  Her memory and spirit live on through the Kittery Art Association’s Marcia Abigail Ryder Scholarship Fund.

This fund was created in 2008 to perpetuate Marcia’s work inspiring and encouraging young artists in the Seacoast area.  Every year the Kittery Art Association awards several scholarships to deserving Traip Academy students to further their education in the arts.

The money for this fund is donated by generous members of KAA and the surrounding community.

Donations for Marcia Abigail Ryder Scholarship Fund can be made to the KAA at any time during the year.
