The Kittery Art Association invites you to become a member of our vibrant art gallery here in Kittery Foreside!
Help create and support a community of artists and friends to the arts.
2024 Membership Information:
Founded in 1958, The Kittery Art Association Gallery and Shop is located in the heart of Kittery Foreside. The gallery features the work of Seacoast Artists in rotating exhibits and welcomes new members and art appreciators of all skill levels. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, committed to our mission to promote knowledge of the arts, stimulate interest in the work of local artists, and express appreciation for the abundant creativity in the Seacoast Area.
We are thrilled to offer several different levels of membership. All memberships are paid annually and expire on the last day of the year, December 31st, 2024.
2024 Exhibiting Memberships
May submit work in rotating All Member Exhibitions.
May apply to sell work in Gallery Shop.
Listing in KAA Member Directory with optional link to Artist Website.
Press Releases in local newspapers, KAA Website, coverage on Social Media.
May post news and updates in the online KAA Community Group.
Weekly Plein Air Outings for KAA Members in the summer months.
Stay up to date with gallery happenings with the monthly KAA newsletter and member news bulletins.
Invitation to Opening Receptions and Special Events at the gallery.
Participate in workshops, classes, artist demos, and music series.
Exhibiting Memberships:
Exhibiting Member (Volunteering) - $50
Exhibiting Member (Non-Volunteering) - $125*
Student (Artist Under 25) - $25
Advocate - $500
Benefactor - $1000
Show Sponsor - $2000
Members at the Student, Advocate, Benefactor, and Show Sponsor levels have exhibiting member benefits and no volunteer requirement
*The KAA is committed to its mission to local arts and artists. If you find that the Exhibiting Membership fee is prohibitive/you are unable to volunteer, please email us at info@kitteryartassocation.org - we have a scholarship program available and the membership trustees and board president will review your applications in confidence.

Friend: $60.00
Supporter: $100.00
