Barry Tarr: I have been a photographer since I was twelve. In high school I met someone who became my photographic mentor, learning darkroom techniques as well as the art of photography. At the same time, I also had my first introduction to computer programming. The decision I faced was what direction to take in my career. I chose computers and went on to develop computer systems for over 40 years. I continue to be involved in photography and I am fortunate to see my two passions become one.
