Color Fields + Mark Making are on view in the Kittery Art Association gallery at 2 Walker Street from March 20th through April 13th, 2025.
This show explores the use of vibrant color, abstraction, and how the strategic use of lines can tell visual stories. It showcases artwork that uses bold, contrasting palettes and dynamic markings to create visual tension and harmony. Pieces use strokes, shapes, and colors to evoke movement and meaning. Perhaps a dialogue between color and form is created, and marking tells a story of artistic expressionism.
