Holiday Themes In Watercolor
Watercolor Workshop with Margaret Dwyer

I love the holidays and savor the opportunity to combine them with my love for watercolor. In this workshop, you will learn more about brushwork, techniques, color choices, and learning to simplify what you see. Choose to make your own holiday cards, small paintings, or an accordion book to display on a mantle or as a table centerpiece. Illustrate your favorite family recipes. Our choice of subject matter is broad…pine boughs, candles, presents, lights, snowmen, ornaments, ribbons, carolers, frozen ponds, starry skies, snowy nights, and personal traditions. There will be lots of references to work from including vintage cards and books, artists interpretations, and live natural items such as boughs, berries, pine cones, and holiday treats.
