Dustan Knight Demo: How to Paint Waves in Watercolor

Dustan Knight is a well known local artist with more than forty years of experience in painting watercolor landscapes. With a MFA from Pratt institute in NYC and an MA in Art History from Boston University, Dustan retired from teaching full time at an Art College to dedicate herself to her studio work. How to Paint Waves in Watercolor is just one of the demos Dustan shares with Art Associations and art groups throughout New England.

Dustan’s painterly style is loose and spontaneous and she makes it look easy and fun. She is more concerned with expressing her personal experience than recreating a generic wave. During the step by step demonstration you will watch Dustan make decisions and changes based on her knowledge of the watercolor medium and her passion for the subject matter.

Dustan has graciously agreed to offer the full size watercolor that she will create during this demo for sale with proceeds to benefit the KAA.
