Betsy Wish Eco Sculpture Workshop
October 28, 29, and 30 from 6:00pm-8:30pm
The Kittery Art Association Art Hub (Lower Level Studio Space)

Join Betsy Wish for mixed media sculpture workshop where you will learn to repurpose recycled materials.

This three session workshop will meet from 6:00pm - 8:30pm on October 28th, 29th, and 30th in the Art Hub, the lower level studio space at the Kittery Art Association. We will be creating mixed media sculptures of people and animals using a variety of materials and repurposed items (plastic seltzer bottles, yogurt containers, card board tubes, etc.) Materials for this class will be provided (duct tape, wire cutters, plaster gauze, paints and brushes).

During these three sessions, artists will draft a design and learn how to select recycled materials and build an assemblage. In the second class, artists will learn to cover the armature with plaster gauze. Artists will paint and embellish their sculptures during the third and final session.

Attendees are welcome to bring additional recycled materials that they would like to use for their sculpture.

Workshop Fee: $250 for 3 sessions, to include Materials.
