Join Betsy Wish for a mixed media sculpture demonstration at the Kittery Art Association!
Betsy Wish taught elementary school art in the Andover, Ma, Public Schools for 25 years. For 8 years she was a studio artist at the Brush Art Gallery in Lowell, MA, working primarily in mixed media and collage. During this time she painted wall murals for local decorators and the Lowell Trolly Museum. After moving to Kittery 16 years ago, Betsy has shifted her focus to photography during the summer months, and continues to work with mixed media the rest of the year.
During this demonstration, Betsy will demonstrate the steps involved in creating a mixed media sculptures:
1. Repurposed materials needed (as well as other materials, tools needed)
2. Demonstration of how to assemble your sculpture
3. Demonstration of how to use creagauze
4. Demonstration of how to paint your sculpture, while adding embellishments
Location: The Kittery Art Association HUB (Lower Level Studio Space)
