Awakenings: All Member Exhibition

Awakenings: All Member Exhibition

Art Intake: Monday, April 3rd from 2-6pm

Opening Reception: Sunday, April 16th from 5-7pm

As we leave the stillness of winter, the Earth comes back to life. We enter a phase of new experiences, fresh ideas, different ways of looking at familiar things - these are awakenings. We see things in a different light; some unfamiliar object or some place that we have never seen before can inspire us. We open our minds, our eyes, and our hearts. Inspiration awakens something in us.

Join us for our first All Member Exhibition of our 2023 Season in our newly renovated gallery space at 2 Walker Street in Kittery Foreside. Awakenings runs from April 6th through April 30th at the Kittery Art Association, with a special Opening Reception on Sunday, April 16th from 5-7pm.

Also on View: Works by Spotlight Artist Angelique Luro.

"Born and raised in Maine, Angelique has resided here for the majority of her life. Angelique is an empathic, intuitive, abstract artist who draws from her experiences as a mother, professional gardener, Reiki healer, and former yoga instructor. Discernment is at the forefront of the creative process for her. Inspired by the love of family, animals, and the natural world, she blends her innate knowledge of color, texture, and line, with curiosity and a sense of exploration, which results in engaging acrylic/mixed media works. She currently lives on a small farm in Southern Maine with her husband and their four equines, two dogs, and a cat.”
