Student Testimonial:

"I took Amanda’s class “Advancing your Art Career” at the Mosaic Art Collective in Manchester this past April.

Amanda’s presentation included all aspects of the behind-the-scenes of an artist’s life from online presence, artist statements, CVs and Bios to application opportunities.

One can never take enough classes on how to be better at all the things and how to wear all the hats, but Amanda did such a great job, that I felt empowered to look further into new opportunities and in turn got two of my pieces into a museum show. A real first.

Thanks so much, Amanda for being a generous resource."

-Daniella Wenzel, artist

Amanda Kidd-Kestler is an artist and arts organizer originally from Sag Harbor, New York. She is currently the Executive Director at the New Hampshire Art Association. An alumnae of Clark University, Amanda is an internationally-recognized professional art framer, and has taught printmaking classes at her alma mater as an adjunct professor. She served on the Worcester Arts Council from 2017-2019 and was a mover and shaker in the Worcester art scene before moving back to New York. Her work has been displayed in the Worcester and Fitchburg Art Museums, as well as in many galleries regionally.

Amanda Kidd-Kestler has built her professional career on supporting artists. As a Master Certified Picture Framer, she helped artists with framing and presentation. She has served as an educator in many different capacities, and in all of them, she has focused on helping artists get to the next level. At the New Hampshire Art Association, she provides artists with resources and dynamic programming. Amanda’s experience as both an artist and as the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Art Association has given her an inside perspective on the necessary skills and drive it takes to be successful as an artist in New England.
