Saturday, January 26th, 10 am to 4 pm, join acclaimed New Hampshire watercolor painter and international teacher, Doris Rice, for an all-day workshop at the Kittery Art Association, 8 Coleman Ave., Kittery Point, where we’ll explore and work with color saturation.

The cost will be $75 per person.

To register, send your check payable to Doris Rice and mail to: Doris Rice, 155 Atlantic Ave, North Hampton, NH 03862.

Supplies/Materials List:

  • 140 pound Cold Press Rag watercolor paper, 1/4 to 1/2 sheet, size your choice. Contact Doris ahead if you need a sheet.
  • Watercolors (bring your tubes, we need the paint juicy/fresh squeezed)
  • Brushes of your own choice
  • Paper Towels
  • Water Dish
  • Backer Board that will take the wet and wet paper
  • Sketch Book for notes
  • Pencil

The day will involve a (short!) lunch break – Doris will bring a bowl of salad greens, so bring something to add to the salad, or something to share, or your own food, along with your own water to drink.  Coffee and tea will be provided.
