About My Art:
Working with organic materials that are especially vulnerable to weathering and aging, I often reflect on the quality of vulnerability both in my art and myself. By intentionally subjecting my textiles to humidity, rust, abrasion and sunlight, I confront my own attachment to permanence and my futile attempt to stop the aging process within my own body.
