Artist Member – Nicole Johanna

Nicole Johanna is a an artist and feminist from Nottingham, New Hampshire. She focuses on multi-media paintings and watercolors that portray her own experience and other individuals coping with depression and anxiety. Using phrases and words, along with near comical portraits, she creates relatable works. She uses found objects and the town dumps when possible, ‘creating beauty out of trash.’

She has a BFA from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA.

She has shown her work since the 1990’s from Maine to Sweden and back at festivals and colleges.

She is currently touring with her ‘Don’t give up” series and the “My little world ” show.

She has works for sale on her website and does custom pieces at request!
